Better Together

COTTO is a brand specialized for toilet design and renovation, providing a total solution for tile, sanitary ware, and faucets, including design and installation from specialists. With this, COTTO came across with the idea of using its potential for society through a project 'Better Together by COTTO.'

The concept of the project is to pass the happiness to people by renovating toilets and landscape of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep to celebrate an auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 7th cycle birthday anniversary 5th December 2011.The renovation was done with cooperation and faith from COTTO executive team, employees, Chiang Mai people and local dealers such as Noppadol Panich Shop, Panich Wiboon Shop and Home Sanitary Ware Shop.

Mr. Pichit Maiphum, President of SCG Building Materials Co., Ltd, told us about every step of the project: from having COTTO STUDIO's specialists design the structure and utility space; providing materials, financial support, and high-standard construction system from COTTO Bathroom Solution; to the renovation of the toilets and landscape by the installation specialist team. The first phase of toilets, 18 units, was offered to the temple on 8th April 2011.

COTTO then continued its project on the second phase with a cordial cooperation from the dealers and volunteers to renovate another 27 units of toilets. The toilets have become beautiful, clean, and sanitary, ready to facilitate the tourists and visitors of the temple.

Furthermore, the landscape was also renovated, a slope way was built, and a photograph of His Majesty the King was printed with 'Touchable 3D Digital Printing Technology' for perfect dimensional look, clarity and sharpness.

The rest of renovated toilets and landscape were officially offered to Phra Thep Worasithajarn, Region 7 Monk Dean and Vice Abbot of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, on 28th January 2012, with the honorary presence from M.L. Panadda Dissakul, Chiang Mai provincial governor.

'Better Together by COTTO' is our pride of social contribution. Apart from Chiang Mai, COTTO has also expanded the project by renovating the toilets of Wat Thepsirin and now planning to renovate other religious places to pass the happiness to the society.
